This page describes how Jane Crown’s Underground Poetry (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit janecrown.com. The site is a small editorial publication; we collect very little, and what we do collect is only what is needed to keep the site online and to respond to mail you choose to send us.

What we collect

Mail you send us. If you write to one of the addresses on the contact page, we receive your email address, any name you include, and the contents of your message. We use this to reply to you.

Server logs and analytics.Standard web-server logs may record your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and the pages you request. These are kept only as long as needed for security and operational purposes. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics product to count aggregate page views; we don’t use tracking cookies or cross-site profiling.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell, rent, or trade personal information. We don’t run first-party advertising cookies or social-plug-in trackers. We don’t maintain reader accounts, and we don’t ask you to identify yourself in order to read.

Cookies

The site uses essential technical cookies or local storage where the hosting platform requires them for security and basic functionality. Aside from that, we don’t set cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time without losing access to the site.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. To exercise any of these, write to hello@janecrown.com.

Children

The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16.

Changes

If we update this policy in a meaningful way we’ll change the date at the top of the page and, where appropriate, note the change on the site.
